The platformer genre has always had a certain appeal to me. There are very few things more fun than the thrill of overcoming seemingly insurmountable obstacles and the triumph of completing your quest. Add excellent graphics and music. Those experiences become very memorable and personally satisfying. In-game terms, this game seems to meet all my criteria for a good platformer – whether that’s an actual title or by application to other similar games. So I went ahead and paid the total price for the app, so hopefully, it won’t disappoint besides one thing – forced video adverts here! I guess they have to make up costs somewhere, so I don’t mind them too much, but some players may not be aware they are intentionally (they play without sound) – so let that be a warning! So if you’re looking for an interesting new platformer with solid graphics and sounds (reminiscent of jumping around in Crash Bandicoot on PS One for me), I recommend giving this one a try.
This game is so good, but my only problem is it’s too easy to accidentally lose a lot of progress playing more than you should. I just wanted to keep playing, and the next thing I knew, all my progress was lost, with everyone wondering what had happened. But, of course, the game can be challenging, making it something that we need to skip levels that are too difficult or impossible to complete independently. So there should be an option where we can at least restore some progress in case things get too complicated or frustrating. We also need a hint system or a way to skip levels if required, as mentioned above.
