История
Bob was an ordinary man who would often reminisce about his previous life as an astronomer after being involved in unfortunate events that led to his arrest for thievery. This time around, however, he finds himself getting sucked into a wormhole and sent from one galaxy to another where he must complete missions given by the boss Mr.Thievious while at the same time trying to uncover the mystery behind the alien activity that is threatening the safety of our planet Earth.
It all starts with Bob trying to sneak into a wedding to purloin the gold and valuable jewelry that adorns the bride’s neck. Unfortunately for him, the bride’s father is a jealous tycoon. Bob has to try and steal items from every house, restaurant, and so on to make up for what he’s taken while also evading detection from the deadly tycoon. Is this a case of happy endings all around?

In each of the game’s 60 challenges, players must help Bob find creative ways to sneak into the guarded territory, take valuable items and get back out without being caught. It all depends on how prepared and committed you are, so don’t get caught by surprise. To stay safe, be sure to observe what’s going on for a moment before deciding whether there’s anyone else around who may happen to witness your presence (like the owner).
After getting what you want, make your way to the exit door but never turn around. Bob has the skills of a superior thief and can hide in various ways, from wardrobes to bonsai pots. Robbery Bob, the original, is one of my all-time favorites on the App Store. I was excited to see a sequel had been released until I started playing it. Though, right away, the main character controls don’t seem to be as responsive or accurate as they are in the original game. Now, I’m not sure if this is something that needs some time to get used to because usually, I don’t have this problem with a platformer game. Maybe it only happens when you have a coin shield equipped? Regardless, if you played the first Robbery Bob title, then be prepared for some frustration out of the gate with Robbery Bob 2.
I LOVED the first game. I thought it had everything, and the story was interesting. Many of the levels were challenging, with bonus levels that were very fun and inventive. The first game was a joy to play, and I even got all three stars in every level without using any help. It kept me hooked for hours and kept pushing me to get better scores, beating my friends and sharing times on social media. The second game, however, doesn’t even come close to matching up to its predecessor as I found some of the new features weren’t done too well, such as the audio, which made it difficult to hear what characters were saying at times, due to frequent background squeaks that happen when moving around at high speed (which is inevitable in gameplay). Also, there are constant reminders about your progress lost at each level, with the clock only going down by seconds rather than minutes.
I love this game, and I like the rap initially, but after every level and even with the secret groups, they stand there and don’t move until I move them. It can be very boring to do all of the hard work fighting off bad guys then have that person standing around not doing anything.
